A brilliant economic plan is to privatise prisons, make profit by charging the taxpayer to sustain the prison service. Each prisoner make a hefty financial claim for, easy money in a police state.
Prisoners have no rights, they have nothing else on their personal agenda but do what the prison guards request them to do. To earn brownie points they must work to get a good reference for when they do eventually leave. People on the outside cannot compete with slave labour.
Arrests all through out the day and night for a whopper of an income for the prison services. Then get corporations in to use prison slave labour to make heavy profit from the never ending supply of prisoners the state is paying to house.
This in turn will reduce the low minimum wage to compete with prison labour and before you know it, there is one level income, slavery…
