‘J. W. McCallister, an oil industry insider with House of Saud connections, wrote in The Grim Reaper that information he acquired from Saudi bankers cited 80% ownership of the New York Federal Reserve Bank- by far the most powerful Fed branch- by just eight families, four of which reside in the US. They are the Goldman Sachs, Rockefellers, Lehmans and Kuhn Loebs of New York; the Rothschilds of Paris and London; the Warburgs of Hamburg; the Lazards of Paris; and the Israel Moses Seifs of Rome.

CPA Thomas D. Schauf corroborates McCallister’s claims, adding that ten banks control all twelve Federal Reserve Bank branches. He names N.M. Rothschild of London, Rothschild Bank of Berlin, Warburg Bank of Hamburg, Warburg Bank of Amsterdam, Lehman Brothers of New York, Lazard Brothers of Paris, Kuhn Loeb Bank of New York, Israel Moses Seif Bank of Italy, Goldman…

‘The CIA is funding a scientific study to determine the feasibility of altering the planet’s climate in order to stave off climate change, according to documents released by The National Academy of Sciences.

The papers reveal that the project will run for 21 months at a cost of $630,000, with a final report due in 2014. The CIA backed scientists will study how weather patterns could be influenced and altered, and assess the potential impacts of geo-engineering attempts.’ Read more: CIA Is Funding Government-Led Chemtrailing Project

‘Few eyebrows were raised last week when Pope Francis brought the Vatican’s legal system up to date by criminalizing leaks of official information and formalizing laws against sex crimes. But now that the laws have been made public, a closer look revealed that the pope has made it illegal to report sex crimes against children.’ Read more …

Pope’s bank clean-up man ‘found stuck in lift with rent boy’

‘As the man charged with cleaning out the stables at the scandal-struck Vatican bank, Monsignor Battista Ricca will need Machiavellian cunning, good fortune and a whiter-than-white record to have even a fighting chance.

But Pope Francis’s new banker appears to possess none of these attributes after it was reported yesterday that he was found stuck in a lift with a rent boy. Msgr Ricca, as Francis’s new primate with responsibility for the troubled financial institution…

‘Homelessness could be turned into a crime under proposed anti-social behaviour laws a think-tank has warned. The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing bill, which featured in the Queen’s Speech earlier this month, includes powers to ban certain activities from designated areas.

The Manifesto Club claims these Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are more wide-ranging than the powers they will replace while including fewer checks on their use leaving them open to exploitation.’ Read more: Homelessness Could Be A Crime Under Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Bill Warns Think Tank

605islamSS (Malaysia) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2013] EWCA Civ 888 – read judgment

This case concerns a hitherto little-explored aspect of the right to a private and family life: a parent’s opportunity to teach their offspring about their own religious faith.

This is also a subset of the right under Article 9 to practise one’s own religion. This question was raised in EM(Lebanon) (FC) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2008] UKHL 64 but was only tangential to the main issue, which was the relationship between the appellant mother and her son as opposed to the father whose entitlement to custody would have been secured under Islamic law.

Last year the American healthcare company, UnitedHealth, was in the news after it sold off three doctors’ surgeries in Camden to another healthcare company, The Practice, leaving 4,700 patients without a doctor. The Eye covered the story in their 15th June to 28th June edition. Here it is

Closing Down Sale

NHS officials have admitted they were powerless to prevent American health giant UnitedHealth from suddenly flogging off its privately run GP surgeries in north London to another firm – leading to 4,700 patients losing their doctors.

An inquiry set up by Camden council heard how bosses at the North Central London NHS sector trust contacted lawyers over last year’s sale to The Practice Plc but were told the deal was legal – thanks to a flaw in the contract. As a result, the new operators had not been vetted by their NHS paymasters, patients were not informed at…

The SKWAWKBOX

In the immediate aftermath of the release of the Francis Report into events at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust, I identified that David Cameron’s crocodile-tears and apparent humility were just a feint that would quickly turn into an attack on the NHS nationally (yet another front in their all-out war on it), using Mid Staffs as a template for attacking other hospitals – and Labour.

This morning’s headlines – covered by the BBC (website and news channel) and the right-wing press – about Professor Sir Brian Jarman’s claim that 20,000 NHS deaths could have been prevented come on the back of a 2-week long assault by Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt on Labour’s supposed failings leading to Mid Staffs.

The claims are utter nonsense – but they are being used by the press and the government as

A sledgehammer to smash the NHS – and Labour

I’ve already shown, at…

I blogged yesterday about the sale of the NHS Blood Plasma Service to an American private equity firm, and yesterday and today about how such firms were involved in the abysmal management of the Winterbourne View residential home. Looking back through an old copy of Private Eye, it now seems that they may also be behind the government’s and Miliband’s campaign against the unions connection to the Labour Party. In their 10th March – 12th April 2007 issue, the Eye ran the article ‘Private Equity: Locusts Bite Back’. This ran as follows:

‘Trade Unions have been trying to get Labour to rein in private equity firms claiming they are secretive get-rich-quick merchants and asset-strippers. Now the industry may get its revenge, as one of its numbers is close to persuading Labour to ditch the unions.

Sir Hayden Phillips, a former mandarin appointed by Tony Blair to review party funding…

It seems that the government’s reluctance to provide the public with information about its welfare policy is certainly not confined to Atos. Eight weeks ago Jaynelinney and others sent a letter to Esther McVey querying her use of statistics to justify the closure of the Disability Living Allowance. After eight weeks they have finally received a reply, which completely fail to answer their questions. Their piece on it can be read here: http://jaynelinney.wordpress.com/2013/06/28/what-do-you-think-about-the-reply-to-esther-mcveys/s

The open letter to McVey challenging her statistics can be read here:

What comes across from this is the government’s complete contempt for the public, and its high-handed refusal to justify its action to the people, who will suffer from them the most.
