REMEMBRANCE SPEECH By Joshua & Lizzie 28/09/2013
As we are gathered here on this day, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us, the people who have died as a result of this cruel, inhumane and despicable government. Let us not forget that it is the intention of this government to silence those who are vulnerable, especially the sick, disabled as well as the unemployed.

We have all heard the horror stories of people being pushed into breaking point and beyond by this government and many have paid the ultimate sacrifice, that of giving their lives and it is for this reason that we gather here today to remember them with respect and dignity.

We are aslo here to remember the ones who are still suffering the onslaught benefit cuts that were instigated by this government and are still ongoing today! We cannot and must not let them grind us down into the ground so that they can walk over us.

According to the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, we have certain inalienable rights. It is about time we started using them.
